I bought a hula hoop just 1 day ago and my mom said I could loose weight. So im trying to seek the truth. I can do it really good so yeah.

Yeah, any form of exercise can help you lose weight.
Edit: It’s normal for your sides to hurt or even bruise when you start out using hula hoops (especially the heavier ones). The bruises should be gone within a week. Even if it hurts now, your body will get used to it. Good luck ^^

sure if you hola-hoop more than just once or twice do it for 15 mins. 2 or 3 x’s a day every day and not only will you lose weight you’ll gain muscle tone and before you know it your hips wont lie just like shakeras have fun and shake that money maker

i use a weighted hula hoop for 1-2 hours daily and i’ve lost weight. but i’m also eating pretty healthy and doing cardio as well. i can tell a huge difference in my obliques though! lol and i don’t have love handles anymore which is the absolute best! lol…btw, i got bruises too, but after you do it for a few days they start to go away and you get used to it and don’t really bruise anymore.
