I have made and decorated (with tape) about 10 hula hoops for myself and friends. I can make those with no problem. On Etsy i’ve seen a few hoops covered with fabric. I order my tape online because i cannot find it locally. But FABRIC i can find easily around town. I know that there is fabric glue and a spray glue called m3, and those might work.

If anyone has any experience in making these would you please guide me in the right direction on how to make these?

If I hula hoop every day for about half an hour, how many calories should I burn? I read that every ten minutes you burn 100 calories, but that seems like an awful lot. Does anyone know if this is true, or can you tell me how many calories you really burn?

Believe it or not, you can’t. In 1959, at the height of the American hoola hoop craze, the Utah state legislature banned sales of hoola hoops because it considered the motion to be overly sexual. The law is still on the books to this day. You can either write your state representative to ask for the law to be repealed, or you can drive out of state to buy one. Good luck!
