Hula Hoop

I would like to purchase a hula hoop for exercise. I am an adult, and a beginner. I see so many different kinds of hula hoops on-line. Some have ridges, and some are smooth like the ones I used years ago. Can you recommend a good beginner hula hoop for an adult. Information about where I can purchase is also needed.

I am in great shape i am capapblil of doing a lot of stuff but i relly want to loose this flaby part. so what do i do. i am not a coutch potatoe i try to be acttive, i eat helthy stuff but if you bring sweets to me i will eat some… please i only have a month. i’ve tryed hulla hooping sit ups and all that stuff so what do i do?

an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat – if you have any – six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these crunches – I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

I use a weighted hula hoop for 30 minutes every day & need a good excercise to do with my arms that won’t interfere with the hoop.

just wave them around above your head. You can also try holding a canned good in each hand abouve your head…..I doubt you would be able to hold them up like that for the whole 30mins though.

I just saw a question regarding conjoined Hula Hoops, but the only Hula Hoops I know of are the toys. Most of the answers state to take a picture and then eat them. What are they? Where can I get some? I live in Minnesota.

Us having a bit of fun with the Loopy Hoops’ white, blue and silver sparkle hoop. The sparkle looked amazing in real life but it doesn’t come up so well in the video. The terrible quality doesn’t help either!

This is my charming friend and fellow S.O.S.(sisters of salome), Krys. Performing as her personality “Bubbles”. I lalalove to watch Krys dance.
