My dog is very smart so she can learn almost anything so please dont say any tricks like jump through a hulla hoop sit stay come give paw wave thank u so much for giving hints or anwsers
You could try teaching her to "clean up her toys." Start by training her to fetch a toy that lying on the ground. Then train her to drop the toy in a specified basket. Eventually, get her to the point where you can give the word and she’ll run around finding her toys and bringing them back to the basket. If you get new toys after this command is taught, you’ll need to teach her that the new toy counts too.
Another fun one is "tag." Train her to put her paw on whatever you point to. Then train her to "tag" a moving person. You can get a fairly good tag game going!
Can she go down the slide at a children’s playground? Can she climb the ladder?
Train her to take lightweight plastic dishes in her mouth and carry them from you, at the table, to the person at the sink washing dishes. Very fun to show off to guests!
The hardest one I can think of would be to get three to five toys with distinct names (for example, a ball, a frisbee, a rope, a "stuffie – stuffed toy", and a rug) and train her to fetch different ones on command. Like, she can pick out the one you say to go get. That would be cool!
I hope this helps!

I just bought a weighted hula hoop, and I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to use one? do they really help slim down your waist? what do you all think of them?
I am a champion hula hooper and I use a 45lb hoop to train for competitions. yes, it is a very good work out and it def helps your waist.

Ok so i was wondering if hula hooping everyday for 30mins to an hour with a heavy hula hoop (its filled with water:D:D:D and its pretty challenging for a heavy hula hoop considering I’m really good
) And a 30 minute jog every 2-3 day would help me get into shape and lose some belly fat? (i got maybe 1-3 pounds , im not really sure how much)
Also averagly how long do you thinik it would take me or how well do you think it would work if i just hula hooped everyday for 30mins to an hour?? (cause i might not have time to jog , with all my homework)
Thanks in advance!!!:D
P.s. i’m looking for pointers/advice and i don’t want to use a diet pill or anything like that cause i’m not 18 yet and my parents WOULD NOT let me :s
Also in the first paragraph i meant to say 1-3 inches INSTEAD of pounds XD
sorry
I’ve been hooping for about five years now and am in the best shape of my life! But hooping isn’t my only exercise–I also roller blade, ride a kayak and do yoga.
In the winter time, I hoop when we’re watching movies at night–at least 1/2 an hour a day. That seems to be enough to keep my waist down. You would probably do better hooping to good music, as you’ll rock harder and move faster (burning more calories).
How long it would take to get into better shape? Give yourself three to six months to notice any big changes. When I started doing yoga every morning it took about six months before I really noticed a difference in my body tone. Six months may seem like a long time, but the results were really worth it. No matter what you choose, what is most important is that you stick with it!
I wish you luck!

Some people say you burn around 600 calories and others say it doesn’t work. So does it work? And if it does how many calories. And i’m not sure if it’s working for me cause my heart doesn’t pound but i have a lot of bruises and sometimes i sweat alittle.
I’ve been hula hooping for a while now and i havent really lost anything after 2 pounds.
hooping only works for weight loss if you control your food intake too. All these claims about it shaving inches off your waist usually involves you cutting down on calories and going at it for a while. Its great for whittling your waist and it does work most of the body muscles. I have heard estimates of between 400-600 calories an hour. This depends what you are doing, if you’re just at the stage of spinning it round your waist you’ll burn less than if you can do a lot of moves and "dance" with the hoop. There’s lots of ways to up the calorie burn, you can start by just step touching whilst hooping and work up from there. Or even just hoop faster, try moving your hips as fast as you possibly can to raise your heart rate. To increase the workout you can buy or make a heavy weighted hoop, I just bought my second hoop which weighs 2kg so I hope to be whittling that waist away lol.
ETA: First poster is actually wrong. Hula hooping in the regular round the waist position also works the legs and butt. If you do round the butt hooping that works on your butt more. You can also do hooping round the arms to tone your arms, or if you’re not good enough yet just do arm exercises whilst hooping. Hooping works most of the major muscle groups, including all of the core muscles, some of which are very hard to work with other forms of exercise.
